Vision
GROW Seminars is all about helping people to GROW in God. The seminars are presented by members and leaders of KCI Churches. So here is how we under stand GROW.
G:
God wants to reveal more of Himself to you, because He loves you. When we come closer to God we change more and more into His likeness, but to come closer to Him I will have to give more of my time and myself to Him. “Draw near unto me and I will draw near to you”
R:
I must know that I will reap the rewards of my obedience to draw near to God in my life, my marriage, my family, my business etc. God is a God of love and He rewards those who earnestly and whole heartedly seek Him.
O:
When I draw near to God I have to come with and open heart and open mind. I have to be open to change. God is not a God that will force us to change. When we are open for Him to work in us and change us, He does it! You might be surprised at how eager He is to do it in your life! But it will only happen if you are open.
W:
Don’t wait and waste any more time. The best time for you to grow in your marriage, your family, your finances and your leadership is now. If you need help or you feel stuck or stagnate in any of the above dimensions of relationships, then the GROW SEMINARS gives you an opportunity and solution to GROW! It’s never to late! Walk by faith and you will grow, it’s a promise!
Growing in the Lord
Many people get to a place where they don't experience growth in their lives: emotionally, spiritually, relationally etc..
Growing is something that God instituted in the earth. We are born and we grow until one day we go home to be with Him. A seed is planted and it either grows or dies. So if we are not growing spiritually are we then busy dying spiritually?
I believe that it is the Father's desire that we thrive and grow in life. Jesus said that He came to give us life in abundance. I find it hard to believe that, that life of abundance can happen without growth. We need to grow, we need to learn, we need to be challenged to grow in the Lord.
I believe that in order to grow in God a person needs to have the following in place in their lives:
1. Be planted in a God given church vision.
2. Be committed to receive discipleship and impartation.
3. Be passionate about life, to freely give what you have freely received from the Lord as you grow in Him.
Many people only experience spiritual growth right at the beginning of their faith walk in God. Some churches call this the spiritual baby stage. The question I am asking is: Why only during that time of your relationship with God? Why not all the time and every day? Many people judge churches of being dead. I believe that if people will come to the place where they are passionate about growing in God, life will start to flow back into any church. Because after all, we are the church and our bodies are the dwelling place of the Most High God.
